There are 9 all weather courts

3 of which are floodlit

The club has a thriving tennis section.  

If you are interested in competitive play we have the following teams.

• National League.  2 men’s teams in the County Division
• National Junior League.  1 boy’s team and 1 girl’s team
• Lancashire Knockout Competitions.  1 Men’s team in the Roscoe Trophy and 1 Ladies team in the Liebert Rose bowl.
• Fylde League.  6 Men’s teams, 2 in division 1,  1 in division 2,  2 in division 4 and 1 in division 5
• Fylde League.  3 Ladies teams  1 in division 1 and 2 in division 4
• Fylde League . 2 boy’s teams and 1 girl’s team
• We also enter a team into the Fylde Knock Out Competition.

 In addition to team matches we also have an internal singles league for ladies & men.

Club Night on  Tuesday evenings is attracting up to 35 people. There is also a considerable amount of social tennis during the day and in the evenings.

 We have 9 all weather courts, some of which we are looking to resurface in synthetic grass during 2008.  Because of the demand for the three existing floodlit courts we have now gained planning permission for 3 more. This project should be completed this year.

 In alternate years since 1982 we have had an exchange with Bleu Weiss Tennis Club in Werne, Germany, One year visiting them and the next we play host at our club.

 The Club won the Roscoe Trophy in 1954, 1982 and 1991 and the Liebert Rose bowl in 1955, 1979, and 1998.  The club has also  reached the semi-finals of the National Club Knock Out and the semi-finals of the Silk Cut Competition.  In 2006 we won the Lancashire division of the National League.

British Tennis Membership/Wimbledon Tickets

Club members, seniors and juniors, are asked to register individually as British Tennis Members.  This is the LTA’s new membership programme and is free until 2012. 

 Why should you join?

·        Our Club’s allocation of Wimbledon tickets for our Club Wimbledon ticket draw in 2009 will depend on the number of British Tennis Members we have in the Club at 30 November 2008.

·        To receive Wimbledon tickets in our Club Wimbledon draw in 2009 you must be a British Tennis Member.

·        All Club members (Full, Daytime, Country, Juniors etc. but excluding Social members) who are British Tennis Members will be eligible to enter our Club Wimbledon draw.

If you are already a British Tennis Member through another club you can add St Annes as an additional club by ringing British Tennis Membership Services on 0845 873 7202  or completing another form and stating that you are already a member.
